Dne 28. května 2015 se v budově Krajského úřadu Jihočeského kraje konala konference s názvem "Podpora pečujících osob", kterou organizovala Národní rada osob se zdravotním postižením ČR ve spolupráci s Teologickou fakultou Jihočeské univerzity. Nad konferencí převzala záštitu 1. náměstkyně hejtmana Jihočeského kraje Mgr. Ivana Stráská.
Konference byla zaměřena na problematiku postavení pečujících osob ve společnosti, na to s jakými problémy se setkávají lidé se zdravotním postižením a ti, kteří o ně pečují.
Se svým příspěvkem pod názvem "Život s autismem aneb kde klasické metody výchovy a péče selhávají" vystoupila za naši organizaci paní Jaroslava Klesnerová, matka 14-ti letého chlapce s autismem. Hovořila o projevech chování svého syna, o sociální izolaci celé rodiny již od narození dítěte, o otázkách, proč u osob s autismem klasické metody výchovy selhávají a proč jsou odborné znalosti pro péči o autisty důležité. Její příspěvek se setkal s velkým ohlasem.
Tímto bychom chtěli jménem našeho spolku poděkovat Ing. Jaroslavě Pupíkové, Dis., krajské koordinátorce NRZP ČR pro Jihočeský kraj, která nám umožnila se této konference zúčastnit.
